Milano Fashion Week
From 19 to 25 February Milan Fashion Fall / Winter 2019 returns.
Sixty fashion shows, 81 presentations, four presentations by appointment and 33 events on the calendar, for a total of 173 collections.
"In this February edition of Milano Moda Donna - explains councilor Tajani - we continue in the path of openness towards the general public, started some years ago, telling through meetings, talks and events not only the Italian textile and fashion supply chain but above all the manufacturing know-how and the creativity of Made in Italy. We want the Milan Fashion Week to become increasingly an opportunity to enhance the many young talents who represent the future of Italian style and taste, for this we open up our most representative spaces as the Sala delle Cariatidi. We are happy to support anyone who wants to contribute with their own project or event to invest in these new talents ".
"This edition of Milano Moda Donna - states Carlo Capasa, President of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion - represents a mirror of creativity with a calendar that allows each brand to express its innovative form of communication and storytelling. Great attention to new talent and internationality, there are many brands present in Milan for the first time, thanks to our support. Supporting new talent is one of CNMI's pillars, alongside sustainability, so we are very happy to support, among others, the presentations of Gilberto Calzolari and Tiziano Guardini, winners in 2017 and 2018 respectively of the 'Franca Sozzani GCC Award' ', as proof of our leadership on this commitment ".
