On May 24, the European Day of Parks is celebrated and the initiative of the European Federation of Parks (EUROPARC) is renewed to commemorate the day when, in the year 1909, the first European park was established in Sweden. In Italy, the date of May 24 extends over several days, with a rich program of meetings, excursions, exhibitions and environmental activities.
